Mission:
" To Develop Citizens of Character Dedicated to Serving their Nation and Community "
The mission of AFJROTC is to educate and train high school cadets in citizenship, promote community service, and instill responsibility, character, self-discipline, and knowledge in Air & Space Fundamentals.
The AFJROTC program is grounded in the Air Force's core values; Integrity first, Service before self, and excellence in all we do.
The curriculum emphasizes the Air Force heritage and traditions, the development of flight, applied flight sciences, military aerospace policies, and space exploration.
Goals:
This program aims to instill values of citizenship, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment in high school students.
We plan on sending every student out of the program with better leadership skills to go out and make a change in this world. Students will leave with a better understanding of who they are and the role they have in this world
Objective:
Our objectives are to educate and train high school cadets in citizenship; promote community service; instill responsibility, strengthen character and self-discipline, and provide instruction in air and space fundamentals.
Through these objectives, cadets will:

Understand the need for national security, authority, and military in a democracy.

Develop patriotism.

Develop habits of order and discipline using the military training model.

Develop strong morals, self-reliance, self-esteem, leadership, and communication skills.

Be familiar with the aerospace age, doctrine, and career opportunities.

Be familiar with military customs, courtesies, and traditions.

Graduate from high school and pursue higher education or vocational goals.

Develop social skills and values and adhere to the Cadet Code of Conduct and Honor Code.

Participate in community service activities.

Follow the rules of parents, school administrators, teachers, and community officials.
